A list listing the advantages of lists

If you've read my other blog 'Living the Library Life' you will know that I love to list things. HENCE the name of this new blog. 'Emily and her lists' will make lists out of both great and no-so-great things. But I figured, why not start this blog of perpetual listing with a 'list listing the advantages of lists', yano cause I'm so damn ironic and all.

WHY ARE LISTS SO FLIPPIN' BRILLIANT?:

1. They keep us organised when our lives generally look like this:

2. They give us something to tick, and make us feel productive.

3. They're crazy efficient and in some cases needed.

4. They let us know that even though some of us have barely used Maths since GCSE we can in fact still count.

5. It's a great form of procrastination from doing something productive.

6. They're fun to read (again for procrastination). Number 1 below is obviously wrong though (CLEARLY).

7. They don't always have to be doom and gloom and all work and no play.
(THERE'S A LITTLE PUGGIE).
8. They aren't set in stone.. unless they're a variation on the 10 commandments or something.

I JUST WANT YOU ALL TO LOVE LISTS. They're just a win win all round!
